Parent Education Workshop: Communication Strategies for Developing Empathy in Children

Morella Hammer, Clinical Director of Pasadena Family Therapy, is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFC#46762) specializing in Imago Therapy for couples, parents, and children. Originally from Nicaragua, Morella completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at CSU Northridge in 1998, and her Masters in Psychology at Phillips Graduate Institute in 2001. Morella is a certified Imago Relationship Therapist and a seminar director for PREPARE/ENRICH ®, where she supports pastors, priest and therapists in learning how to prepare couples for marriage. She is also a certified CAMFT supervisor and has been endorsed by the state of California as an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist. Morella is a bilingual, bicultural therapist who is passionate about working with couples, individuals, children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds.
