This workshop will explore the WHY behind children's behavior so that as parents we can help our children make positive choices. This workshop will help you better understand your child's brain development, recommend possible behavioral interventions, and offer guidance for helping your child build self-regulation for the future.
The workshop will be led by Carrie Shoup, M.A. Carrie has been helping children and families for the past 10 years. She currently works as a sensory integration specialist helping elementary school students learn self regulation and social skills and provides professional development and parent trainings. Carrie is also the founder of PlayLab Family Playspace, an indoor playground in Pasadena thoughtfully designed for young children and based on child development.
